Chandler Sharp

… is a Conservation Interpreter at the Dallas Zoo. Through animal encounters, endangered species campaigns, and field expeditions, he inspires zoo visitors to practice conservation actions in the Dallas-Fort Worth community and beyond. He graduated from the Global Field Program with an M.A. in Biology in 2019. The program proved life-changing for him. He gained knowledge about the importance of communities in conservation and connecting with nature through his travels to Baja, Australia, and Namibia. Most of his previous positions have included an environmental education component, whether talking with visitors about wildlife patients at a sea turtle hospital or leading school children on nature hikes in Texas. He loves the outdoors, aviation, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs!
