… is a proud alumna of the Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP), partnering with the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Before graduating in 2015, she had the opportunity to participate in the Belize Earth Expeditions course and is thrilled to work with Project Dragonfly once again. With a B.S. in education from Ohio University, Carrie spent six years teaching science. After completing AIP, Carrie followed her passion for conservation, spending several years in habitat restoration and native plant propagation. She now works for her local Soil and Water Conservation District, collaborating with producers and engineering practices that allow them to conserve soil, protect water quality, and work with Mother Nature. Carrie has a strong interest in botany and loves to share her passion for native flora.
